Got me a new car! 'tis a 1974 998cc morris mini in need of a bit of resto.

I'm going to be slowly restoring this to it's former mini gloriousness over the summer. It has need of welding on much of the drivers side door sill, floor etc. aswell as needing a full respray.
The engine and gearbox are fine as far as I can tell, though the head will need docoking at some point, as it tends to deisel whenever I (try) to turn it off... Could be due to being run on an over rich fuel mixture at some point.

It has had some modifications done already...

Kent 266 cam
LCB exhaust manifold with 2" single box exhaust
Water heated inlet maifold
Oil cooler
10" Minilights with Cooper S disk brakes!

I'll be removing at least the cam for cheaper insurance reasons! Speaking of which, I might even be looking for a little 850cc soon...

I'll keep this updated with new info on how this all goes...

Actually, this one goes like the frigginnn clappers!
I'm gonna get that rust fixed over easter hopefully, then it's off to the garage for that silly MOT thingy...

Anyway, the latest so far is:
I've completely stripped out the interior... (AMAZING!!!)
And I've broken the bonnet release lever (AWESOME!!!)
